We would like to take you on a culinary adventure to the land of kimchi, K-pop and rejuvenating cosmetics.And we are talking about South Korea. The Korean peninsula is not only famous for its spicy kimchi or rice, it is a veritable paradise for meat eaters and vegans alike.

In this workshop, we will talk about the basic elements of Korean cuisine, dishes and cooking customs. We will start with Bibimbap 비빔밥, or rice with vegetables, (optionally with beef), Gochujang paste sauce and egg, which at one time reigned in Korean palaces as well as on the tables of simple people. It is a cultural blend of Korean cuisine.

Another flavour we will experience is Sundubu-jjigae 순두부찌개, which is a red tofu dish/soup served with a bowl of rice. There will also be the most popular Korean street food dish - Tteokbokki 떡볶이 which is rice noodles cooked in a spicy sauce. We will also learn how to make a quick and delicious Korean starter or what is known as Banchan 반찬.

We will culminate our meeting with a tasting of Korean alcohol - Soju 소주 and learn how Koreans drink it.
