He spent 10 years of his life in Portugal. After returning to Poland he wrote two guides for Express Map publishing house: After Lisbon and all over Portugal. He runs the oldest blog in the Polish blogosphere dedicated to Portugal - luzomania.pl, where he discusses the most interesting information about Portugal. One of the sections of Luzomania is devoted to the kitchen, where it combines the best of Portuguese cuisine with the best of ours, the borderland one, where it was brought up.
He popularizes Portugal, its history, culture, cuisine and wine, both by writing about it (e.g. in Magazyn Smak, Magazyn Podróże, or on the Internet portal cook.to), as well as by organizing culinary workshops or organizing Portuguese dinners (such as for Polish bloggers in the residence of the Portuguese ambassador to Poland).
He also cooperated in the preparation of the Polish-Portuguese dinner in Atelier Amaro, which was prepared by Wojciech Modest Amaro and his Portuguese colleague, Vitor Matos, and the guests were Polish celebrities such as Marcin Kydryński, Piotr Kraśko, Szymon Majewski, Grażyna Wolszczak and Łukasz Jakóbiak.
Janusz popularizes Portuguese cuisine, also conducting culinary workshops, tasting Portuguese wines and olives all over Poland.
