Exotic Thai cuisine is easy to fall in love with!
It varies greatly from region to region, but the idea is the same everywhere - the choice of ingredients. Cooks work according to the Chinese art of combining five ingredients - sweet, salty, sour, spicy and bitter. Sweet taste is obtained with fruit, coconut milk or cane sugar, and the salty taste is due to soya and fish sauces, spicy is an endless number of chilli varieties, sour taste is obtained with lime, lemon and tamarind, and bitter taste is due to cucumber and unripe melon.
And now it is clear why Thai cuisine is described as “full” - a veritable explosion of flavors!
