The history of pizza begins in antiquity, when various ancient cultures prepared simple scones with a few toppings.
The precursor to pizza was probably focaccia, a scone known to the Romans as 'panis focacius', to which toppings were then added. Modern pizza evolved from this type of flatbread dish in Naples, Italy in the 18th or early 19th century.

During our workshop, we will focus on learning how to prepare the dough, sauce, shaping and baking the finished pies with toppings. Lots of fun and practical knowledge await you!
