Joanna Copik

A teacher by vocation, a farmer by passion, I cook straight from the heart.

I love working with children and young people – it's not just a job, but a mission that I pursue with heart and commitment. For years, I have been developing my urban-rural habitat, combining family life, education and agriculture in the spirit of self-sufficiency. Cooking and processing are my elements, each dish is an expression of respect for nature, tradition and seasonality.

As part of the Aunt Asia's Home Kitchen project, I prepare soups, one-pot dishes, sourdough breads and vegetable and fruit preserves, based on vegetables from my own garden or from local farmers. My jars and recipes are the result of knowledge, experience and hard work – no chemicals, no rush, just heart. I love travelling and local cuisines – I taste, ask questions, learn and share what I discover. Every new acquaintance, every vegetable and every spice is a new story for me.
